Bitches Be Brunching: Public House*

Before you drag me in the comments with, “Ugh another post about Public House?” or “You posted about them before.”, this is different, hence the asterisk.

This is Public House*, the brunch edition.

And instead of highlighting *one specific dish* I’ve had at Public House for brunch, we’re gonna do them all.

We’re gonna hit the Go-To, The Sweets, The Libations, & the Wildcard.

Let’s get started, shall we?

The Go-To: Smoked Brisket Hash.

I’m not a huge fan of brisket, but PH’s smoked brisket has just does something to my spirit.

Redskin potatoes, sriacha aioli, & my personal touch, scrambled cheddar cheese eggs. It’s filling without being too much.

The Sweet: The Waffle of The Day.

Okay, so this one isn’t 100% fair, because their waffle of the day changes each week so you have to strike while the iron is hot.

The week I went, the waffle of the day was an Amaretto waffle aka my wildest dreams, but IRL.

*Pro Tip:* Check their Instagram before you dine, they’ll give you the deets on  what the waffle of the day is!

The Libations: The Gerty.

While I’m not a vodka girl, I am a cold brew girl & rumchata girl.

This breakfast cocktail has vodka, macadamia nut liqueur, rumchata, & hyperion cold brew & holy heck, it is GOOD.

*JB Hack: add some half & half and it becomes literally perfect.*

The Wildcard: Crayfish Toast.

This is a recent fave of mine!

When I saw that PH has bravado toasts, I was like, “okay whatever, trend alert.”

But something told me to just try it & boy-oh-boy did I make a good choice!

I loved the bits of preserved lemon that peaked through the sumptuous crayfish spread. It was like the breakfast version of a lobster roll.

Make your way to Public House this weekend!

It’s a great, inexpensive place to get some delicious brunch!

Happy Brunching. ❤
