Bite Sized: Johnny Noodle King’s Bacon Fried Rice.

Have you ever went to a restaurant, loved what you had, and then for some reason, you mysteriously never go back????

This is the strange case of Johnny Noodle King & Me.

#Boyfriend took me there on one of our first dates, but for some reason, I’ve never made my way back.

This terrible injustice was mended when I suggest a late night trip this past Saturday.

We stood in a jam-packed restaurant for what felt like *HOURS* (it was only like…25 minutes) for one dish in particular:

the bacon fried rice.

okay, to be fair, the noodle bowls are amaze-balls, but the bacon fried rice,

oh-my-god

So let’s talk.

The bacon fried rice has thing called ~pork floss~ that looks like a hell no, at first but trust me on this one.

A little history lesson on pork floss:

The official name is Rousong is a dried meat product with a light and fluffy texture similar to coarse cotton, originating from China. It looks a little questionably, but the flavor is like bacon on steroids.

The pork floss, plus the fried rice, plus the hose smoked bacon is all the ingredients needed for a pork party that everyone should attend.

Oh yeah, the gyoza is amazing & they have this crazy ass shot of whiskey that comes with the most flavorful beef broth chaser (as if you needed any other reason to go).
