Bitches Be Sippin’: JB’s Spike Cider.

Hello my loves!

So, if you follow our twitter page, you see I’m obsessed with Public House & I’m even more obsessed with the William Tell on their drink menu.

William features two simple ingredients, warmed apple cider & aged bourbon, but it always warms me up & puts a smile on my face.

I decided to try my hand at making my own William Tell with my own little twist.

Wanna see how I made this super easy cocktail? Check the recipe below.

cider-1

3 cups of apple cider

1 1/2 cups of Fireball Whiskey

4 cinnamon sticks

A handful of cloves

A handful of allspice

This recipe is super simple, I added the apple cider & spices into a pot & allowed them to simmer together for about 30 minutes.

I used my sense of smell to gauge when the cider is “done” since your kitchen will for sure smell like cinnamon & spices.

The best part of making this is how yummy your house is going to smell once it’s finished.

I then add the whiskey & let it simmer again for another 30 minutes.

Them I removed the cinnamon sticks, allspice, and cloves from the pot before serving myself & my mom a cup.

See? Super simple, and super tasty.
