Hey guys!
So, #Boyfriend & I were looking for an alternative to our usual go-to pasta dish of carbonara. Don’t get me wrong, I swear by my carbonara recipe but sometimes you want to shake things up, ya know? Long story short, I think we found a new face with this Asiago Chicken Pasta.
This cheesy, saucy meal is super simple to make.
Check out the recipe!
Two Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
One Pound of Rigatoni pasta
2/3 Cups of Sun-Dried Tomatoes with Oil
Three Tablespoons of Olive Oil
Two Tablespoons of Chopped Garlic
One Cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
One 1/2 Cups of Grated Asiago Cheese
1/2 Cup of grated Parmesan Cheese
Two cups of Fresh Baby Spinach
DISCLAIMER: I totally forgot to add the spinach & I didn’t realize it until #Boyfriend told me and I’m PISSED.
So yeah, remember to add the spinach guys.
Anyway, start off by boiling a large pot of water for the noodles.
At the same time, place a large pan over low-medium heat & add the olive oil, garlic & the sun-dried tomatoes. Let those simmer for about 3 minutes.
I seasoned my chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, & garlic, they way the sauce is the real star.
Add the chicken to the pan & I sauteed them until they were brown.
When the chicken is done add the heavy cream and spinach & bring it to a slight boil, stirring every so often.
Once it’s boiling, stir in the cheese & turn the heat back to low-medium.
Once the cheese is thoroughly mixed in, it’s time to eat!
Add more cheese if you like or some crushed red pepper flakes if you like a little spice.
There you have it little babies,
a super yummy, super easy meal.
Happy eating! ❤
