Bitches Be Basic: Fried Rice

Hey guys! I decided to share this recipe because I feel like fried rice is a staple in a lot of Asian dishes. Plus, who doesn’t like fried rice? Amirite?

Ok! So all you’ll need is ::

  • Boil-in-a-bag rice (chose this route because lazy)
  • Half an onion, chopped (however, you can add more if that tickles your kitten)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter

I honestly would have added more veggies but I couldn’t find the carrots that I wanted and got super frustrated and said fuck it. ~maturity~

But you can use carrots, broccoli, green peas (yuck), anything you’d like, tbh.

Anywho, you’ll prepare the rice as directed on the box. While that’s cooking, it’s time to melt the butter in a skillet and toss your chopped onion in. Let those cook until soft and fragrant.

Next part is pretty fun, in my opinion. I’m vv easily amused.

Beat the eggs and pour them on one side of the pan, separate from the onions.

After letting those scramble for a little, you’ll mix the eggs and onions while simultaneously pouring in your soy sauce.

By now the rice is all done, so you’ll just add the rice into the pan and mix everything together.

Super simple, super easy and super versatile! Throw in some chicken or shrimp with some more veggies and BAYBEH. You got yourself a meal.

Happy eating. ❤
