It’s Taco Tuesday: Grilled Mahi-Mahi Tacos with Cilantro Lime Sauce!

It’s Taco Tuesday!

I made these fish tacos this past weekend & I thought they’d be perfect to share with you guys!

These tacos feature grilled mahi mahi, a cooling cilantro sauce, and slaw & they are great in this sweltering heat.

If you want to try these out for yourself, check out this quick, easy recipe!

For the tacos:

tacos 1

Two pieces (or one pound) of mahi-mahi

1/2 cup of trader Joe’s organic shredded green & red cabbage with orange carrots

1/2 tablespoon of black pepper

One tablespoon of garlic powder

One tablespoon of paprika

A pinch of salt

Two flour tortillas (use corn if you like!)

One avocado (optional)

A squirt of lime

One tablespoon of olive oil

For the cilantro sauce;

1/3 cup of sour cream

1 /4 cup of chopped cilantro

1 tablespoon of lime juice

One pinch of salt

1/2 tablespoon of olive oil

I’m really excited to make this recipe mostly because I got this awesome pan from IKEA.

I’ve been wanting the GRILLA pan for sometime now & I finally got it this past weekend. It was the perfect pan to used for this dish!

I started off by seasoning the fish with garlic, black pepper, paprika, & salt while the oil is heating up in the pan.

I then placed the fish in pan for about 3 minutes on one side, then flipped it over for another 3 minutes.

I then removed the fish from the pan & let it rest.

In another pan with a little oil, I added the tortillas & let them get a little crispy.

Once they’re a little brown, I take them out the pan & assemble my tacos.

I placed a dollop of the cilantro sour cream (super simple recipe, literally combine the ingredients listed a over & mix them together. Voila!), then I placed the fish, & the cabbage mix on top, then added more sour cream.

There you have it!

Oh that’s #Boyfriend’s arm, not mine.

If you’re like #Boyfriend & I, add some Cholula on top!
