Bitches Be Shopping: Another Trader Joe’s Haul!

Hey loves!

This weekend I made a sweeping declaration that I’m wasn’t going to leave my apartment. I saw almost 100° degree weather & I was like NOPE.

So that means I had to stock up on my om noms. And any time I was reaaaaallllly good snacks, I head to Trader Joe’s.

haul

I love TJ’s because not only is everything delicious, it’s affordable. Here’s what I got on my most recent Trader Joe’s haul!

tj 1

1.) Mini Cinnamon Sugar Churros—$4.99

Love. Love. Loved these! I popped these in the toaster oven for 10 minutes & bam! I had perfectly crispy, sugary churros. This is a must buy!

2.) Steamed Mussels in a White Wine Sauce–$3.99

Any time I want to feel fake fancy, I reach for these. These take like 5 minutes to make & are perfect when paired with some nice crusty bread.

tj 2

3.) Mandarin Orange Chicken– $4.99

What can I say about Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken that hasn’t been said? It’s easily one of the best things that they sell.  For only $4.99, you can get mandarin chicken that’s better than any take out you’ll ever have.

4.) Espiral Vinho Rosé—$4.99

I know what you’re thinking, $5 rosé? But, listen, this $5 rosé is pretty tight. Not too acidic, & just fruity enough, this Portuguese rosé is a really nice summer wine.

5.) Dulce de Leche—$2.99

Okay, this is the only thing on the list I wasn’t super in love with. Maybe I’m just use to like a caramel-y, sweet flavor when I  think of dulce de leche but this didn’t really have too much flavor. Was it sweet? Yes. But dulce de leche (as I think of it), nah.

6.) Shelf Stable Whipping Cream– $1.29

I use whipping cream in a lot of my dishes, but on this trip I needed it for a cheesecake I was making. I stumbled across this shelf stable (aka it doesn’t have to be refrigerated) whipping cream. I think this is something I’d go back & buy, since I’m always buying whipping cream & forgetting it in the fridge. With the self stable one,  I can stock up on them for all my potential baking needs!

7.) Pork Gyoza Potstickers– $3.29

My favorite thing from Trader Joe’s, hands down. The gyoza is better than any that I’ve in any restaurant. I’ve only tried the pork, but TJ’s gyoza comes in chicken, shrimp, & vegetable mix!

I hope you try out these goodies from Tjs! Tell me what you love to get when go to Trader Joe’s!

Happy shopping! ❤
