Confession: I’ve never had a Big Mac before.
It’s not a personal attack on McDonald’s (yes it is) but I’ve never ventured past the fries and nuggets.
So when #Boyfriend told me about this Big Mac that I haaaaaad to try,
I was skeptical.
But this is no average Big Mac, this is Le Big Mack Ave from Craft Work in the West Village.
As a skeptic, I was hesitant to try Craft Work’s spin on the “classic” burger, but as a self-proclaimed foodie, I was game.
And honestly, as I’m typing this, I’m getting experiencing hunger pangs for this burger.
I LOVED it.
The burger was juicy, while the american cheese/lettuce/special sauce/ketchup (I got mine without pickles) cobo tasted like what a classic cheeseburger should taste like.
It’s terrible because I really don’t want to give McDonald’s ANY credit for creating this burger, so all of my happy feelings about this will go to the head chef at Craft Work.
So thank you, Aaron Solley, you’re amazing.
If you want something familiar, but 100X better, check out the Le Big Mack Ave at Craft Work.
You’ll never have a regular Big Mac again.
