One thing I L O V E is a nice, hot cup of cocoa.
So I had the idea of making my own after Christmas dinner as a sort of dessert.
But this mug of hot chocolate isn’t your ordinary hot chocolate, this one is spiked with Kahlua & Amaretto flavored Ciroc.
Cause why not?
This recipe is super simple & only take 5 minutes to make. Let’s get started!
2 Tablespoons of semi-sweet cocoa
5 Tablespoons of sugar
2 Cups of milk
1/4 of a Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/4 of a Teaspoon of Nutmeg
A splash of vanilla extract
2 Ounces of Kahlúa
1 Ounce of Amaretto Ciroc
Combine all of the dry ingredients in a pot on medium heat, then add the milk & vanilla.
I stirred it a little bit, then let it come together, which takes about 3 minutes.
Once that’s done, remove from heat & add the liquor.
And there you have it!
Spiked hot chocolate.
Add marshmallows & whipped cream if you like, but if you’re a cocoa purist like me, you’ll dive right into it. Enjoy! ❤️
